6/21/2021 Corona Virus update:  We still plan to run our program this summer.  We expect to operate with reduced class sizes, fewer students per instructor, and the same procedures to minimize the risk of spreading COVID-19.

SMALL FRY CAMP (Ages 5 & 6)

ANNOUNCEMENT: WEEK 3+ 4 ARE NOW FULL. We are offing 25% off on WEEKS 1 & 2 SALES. USE THE CODE: JUNE_DISCOUNT.

Welcome to BCSB! We can't wait to introduce your tiny tot to the love of sailing. Small Fry kiddos will have a separate program to be introduced to the water and the art of sailing, called "Small Fry". All children MUST be swimmers.

In the morning, children will have movement and music classes with Bonita Wrenden, a fitness instructor and yacht club member.

In the afternoon, the children will explore the outdoors, participate in crafts related to sailing, and explore some of the boats on land in a safe and fun way that peaks their interest in sailing.

During this program, the children will have the opportunity to go out on the Catalina 27 or J22 for a group day sail with 2 sailing instructors, Director - Danielle, and a parent volunteer for a ride on the Beaufort River and to experience sailing together in a safe way.

This will run for 3 days per week Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays from 8:30 to 2:30 pm.

Early Drop off: (8:30 am)

Pick up: (2:30 pm)

Program openings are on a first come, first serve basis. Program fees must be paid in full at registration checkout by credit card.

Cancellation Policy - 100% refund up to 4 weeks before class starts.

50% thereafter. THERE IS A LIMITED AMOUNT OF SPACES AVAILABLE SO PLEASE FULLY COMMIT TO YOUR WEEKS.

"Small Fry Future Sailors" must be dropped off at the club by 8:30 am and must be picked up by 2:30 pm.

Proper safety equipment is required including life jacket, sunscreen and closed toe shoes. Closed toe shoes can be sailing boots or old sneakers. It has to be a shoe that will stay on when walking in pluff mud. Avoid "Walmart water socks" or similar. They will be getting wet every day so wear a bathing suit and pack a towel.

PLEASE PACK LUNCH FOR YOUR SMALL SAILOR! If there's an issue with packing lunch please let campers know. We will work to provide a simple snack and water, with closed packaging. We cannot serve food and drinks with Covid-19 without a wrapper.
